I love teaching! I have been teaching now for over forty years.God has blessed me with the gift to teach Reading and l am using that gift now as a First Grade teacher.  I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica where I earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of the West Indies (U.W.I.),and a Diploma in Theology from Caribbean Christ for the Nations.

I have always believed in bringing out the best in all my students with God's help.As a result, I try to instill in them the all powerful words from Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I have a master’s degree in elementary education. I love to create an atmosphere in my classroom that is loving and inspiring. I love to teach my students how important it is just to try their best everyday and let God do the rest. My favorite teaching quote,” Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars!
